The EMEA HR Team drives EMEA headquartered (HQ'ed) and EMEA employee-based HR activity working collaboratively with EMEA HQ'ed businesses and global counterparts to complete the International HR critical path activities in line with our One Rakuten vision and Rakuten values.

As HR Project Manager you will work closely with the Senior HR Project Manager and the EMEA HR team managing the delivery of exciting HR projects within the EMEA region as part of our 'One Rakuten' vision by creating synergies between business units within the Rakuten EMEA Region. Projects vary in scope and include complex business and policy alignment, as well as span across multiple geographies, transaction cycles and business units within Europe as well as involving interaction and collaboration with global counterparts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver HR EMEA regional project plans i.e., manage projects throughout the project life cycle including conducting research, collating data, building out project plans, gaining sign off
- Conduct project meetings Form a collaborative relationship to deliver assigned projects with the key players within the Centres of Excellence (CoE's) with the aim of understanding their project portfolio and highlighting risks to regional project plans/IHR critical path and identifying where efficiencies can be implemented and taking appropriate proactive action
- Engage with our EMEA client base to identify their needs and create actionable steps against the IHR Yokoten Projects Assess and remediate issues, inter-dependencies, and risks - escalating as required
- Conduct and/or facilitate After Action Reviews (AAR), complete AAR write ups, implement outcome recommendations and/or track their progress
- Prepare and maintain tracking reports for EMEA region HR projects e.g., overall project plans
- Manage content, distribution, holding and promotion of EMEA region engagement and resources e.g. SharePoint for HR, HR Leads and EMEA All Hands meetings etc.
- Assist with developing processes and policies and support implementation within different regional and geographical legislative guidelines
- Manage regional contracts and supplier documentation for Learnship

- HRIS systems experience ideally Workday
- Degree or equivalent
- Ideal, but not essential - built and managed HR projects
- Owner of HR function activity
- HR accreditation (CIPD or working towards similar)
- Project Management accreditation
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years' HR experience with exposure to HR project plan development and delivery gained from working within a global matrix HR team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
