Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for process improvement and team success? Join Rain Bird, a global leader in irrigation systems, as our Production Group Leader in our Tucson RGA Center. In this essential role, you’ll lead a dynamic team and ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate processing of Returned Goods Authorizations (RGAs).
Responsibilities
As the RGA Production Group Leader, you’ll:
- Lead and support a production team in the accurate receipt, identification, verification, and processing of returned products.
- Train and coach team members on quality procedures, safety protocols, and system use.
- Manage daily workflows: assign tasks, monitor progress, and rotate team roles to maintain flexibility and engagement.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure timely credit processing and product distribution or disposal.
- Oversee the RGA and PRR database systems, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and champion continuous improvement initiatives (including 5S and lean practices).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment—keeping the RGA Center looking and running “like new.”
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture where every member feels empowered and informed.

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a production coordinator, team lead, or similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—verbal and written
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs. regularly, 40 lbs. occasionally
- Proficiency in data entry and office equipment usage
- Basic database knowledge and solid organizational skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a technical field
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word), PeopleSoft, or other ERP systems
- Experience in a seasonal, fast-paced business environment
- Forklift certification or experience
- A flexible, creative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
