Quality Inspector- Distribution Center
Overview
We are currently searching for detail-oriented and highly motivated quality inspectors to join our team. As the quality inspector, you will uphold the quality policies of our company and provide oversight to ensure that all shipments meet Rain Bird quality standards.
The Quality Inspector performs regular product evaluations, records inspection results, and communicates improvements to the production team. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
Perform assessments on products staged for shipping.
Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.

Evaluate and ensure that packaging and labeling standards meet requirements.
Communicate necessary improvements to the DC team to ensure quality control.
Document shift performance by completing reports and performance records.
Support training for production associates on quality standards and policies.
Coordinate the containment process, i.e. MRB for suspect material or product.
Generate discrepancy reports.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Computer skills – MS office, emails, and reports.
Strong performance history.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
