We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Supervisor located in Billerica, MA to join our Manufacturing team. This individual will oversee manufacturing associates within the clean room executing various stages of assay production. Responsibilities will also include hiring, performance evaluation, training & professional development.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a culture of trust and compliance with established Quality standards
- Work closely with the Scheduler to review manufacturing requirements and generate build plans, establish priorities, resolve problems, and report results
- Drive lean manufacturing efforts, process improvements, regulatory compliance & quality improvement projects, cost reduction efforts, capacity planning, organizational development and supply chain initiatives
- Perform batch record reviews for manufacturing records, complete/review Syteline ERP transactions for associated job orders
- Participate in inventory control and replenishment, interfacing with area managers and other manufacturing technicians
- Participate in documentation and other process improvements, investigations and resolutions of product/process issues and general continuous improvement activities
- Initiate, investigate & close quality systems (deviation, NCMR, CAPA, change control)
What We'll Expect From You:
- 2+ years of demonstrated success with leading a manufacturing team in a fast paced environment and/or Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Life Sciences
- Detailed knowledge of ERP system, bills of materials, routings
- Experience with creating and revising process documentation
- Experience with GMP- or ISO-certified operations required
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, record keeping and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well within cross-functional teams as a team player
- Must have strong mathematical skills
- Possess an ability to learn and master complicated concepts quickly and comfortably
- Strong work ethic with ability to meet rapidly evolving and dynamic business priorities
- Possess the ability to proactively adapt to rapid changes in business priorities and foster teamwork among employees to maintain high quality standards
- Develop and support the growth of direct reports
- Some processes entail repetitive motion and extended periods of time in a standing position
