Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to join our Mobile Clinic Operations team. You will manage a team of Travel Supervisors by monitoring licensure requirements, reviewing regulatory training, and conducting regular audits to maintain adherence to legal and professional standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage processes and procedures to ensure a timely and quality completion of work according to client’s contractual obligations
  • Manage day-to-day team activities and assignments for Clinical Staff
  • Ensure clinical staff members comply with all applicable state and national healthcare laws, by monitoring licensure requirements, review of ongoing regulatory training, and conducting regular audits to maintain adherence to legal and professional standards
  • Manage and monitor correct examinations, tests and specialists required for each case is confirmed through training and quality check processes
  • Ensure team coordination and communication to effectively and efficiently complete the operational workflow
  • Assist in providing timely and exceptional training for mobile clinical operations Clinical Team
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to best serve the MCO program
  • Manage and troubleshoot the resolution of claimant, provider, and client issues
  • Communicate with operational teams and other departments companywide to ensure the use of best practices operational excellence in workflow standardization methodologies
  • Train team members on workflow and contractual modifications expeditiously
  • Develop and adhere to processes focused on exceptional customer service and ensure immediate escalation of issues which can negatively impact LQTC reputation.
  • Evaluate employees' job performance as associated to workflow processes
  • Prepares timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Specific Duties and Experience:

  • Develop an excellent working knowledge of all contracts covered by the mobile clinical operations department
  • Maintains clinical standards for various contracts
  • Coordinate with departmental leadership and others as needed for workflows, policy and procedure updates
  • Communicate daily with the various departments within Clinical Operations to ensure mission success
  • Hold weekly meetings with all applicable departments (VAO, CLS, PR, etc.) to discuss operational strategies and updates
  • Identify and resolve all workflow concerns
  • Report overall progress to departmental leadership efficiently and effectively

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business, or related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
    • 7 years demonstrated management/supervisory and project management experience
    • 10 years of experience practicing as an LVN/LPN or higher
    • A current, active, clean, clear and unrestricted LVN/LPN License
    • An ability to apply and obtain a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) to operate across the United States
    • A BLS (AED) certification or higher
    • A valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability/willingness to drive between work locations.
    • Candidates must reside within commutable distance to our San Antonio Corporate Office
    • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation

    Additional Information: 

    • Training: 4 weeks of structured training including compliance, shadowing, and clinical operations. In addition to a 90-Day training period
    • Shift: Typically Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm, with the exception of travel (some flexibility with start time)

    This role may fall under the Service Contract Act (SCA), a federal law which provides for a U.S. Department of Labor-prescribed minimum prevailing rate of pay and certain benefit levels.
