We are looking for a committed personality as an Applications Engineer to strengthen our team and support our customers in Switzerland.

As an Applications Engineer, you are the technical backbone that provides critical support to our customers - from system integrators to end users. Your expertise flows into training, the design and implementation of systems as well as the ongoing support of our customers. You will play a key role in the implementation of our Q-SYS technology platform by ensuring seamless integration and optimal use of our solutions to maximize the efficiency and satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities

Training:

  • Implementation of Q-SYS Architect Training and Q-SYS Level 1 + Level 2 training.
  • Carrying out Q-SYS Control Training 101 + 201.
  • Conducted quantum training to troubleshoot AVC installations in IT networks.
  • Conduct specific training as required.

System design & pre-sales support:

  • Supporting AV planners and system integrators in system planning with QSC components.
  • Preparation of cost estimates and tender specifications for Q-SYS system designs.

Post-sales support:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Escalation of unresolved issues to internal teams.
  • Manage the follow-up procedure after troubleshooting.

Product management:

  • Gathering and providing regional input for global product management.
  • Conducting regional competition analyses.
  • Contribution to product life cycle measures.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in AV&C system design and technical support.
  • Bachelor of Science or similar field is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of audio visual system designs, AV networking, support and troubleshooting.
  • AV and/or network certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in Unified Communications and Network Operations Centers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DSP design software, control coding and technical drawing programs.
