The IT Qlik Community Intern Role

 

Are you passionate about technology, online communities, and customer engagement? We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated IT Community Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community management, digital engagement, and technical communications. As an IT Community Intern, you’ll play a vital role in fostering a vibrant and engaged online community, enhancing customer relationships, and driving brand awareness in the tech space.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

Community Moderation

  • Monitor technical community discussions to ensure a positive, professional, and inclusive environment.
  • Enforce community guidelines and contribute to maintaining a space where members can collaborate and share ideas effectively.
  • Assist with projects that ensure the community remains relevant and aligned with industry trends.

Community Engagement

  • Actively interact with our technical community across platforms, including forums, social media, and developer hubs.
  • Brainstorm and implement creative strategies, like gamification and personalization, to engage IT professionals and tech enthusiasts.
  • Facilitate conversations and knowledge-sharing among community members.

Technical Content Creation

  • Assist in creating and curating technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, how-to guides, and videos, to drive community interaction and engagement.
  • Support community onboarding efforts with resources that help new members navigate tools, platforms, and features effectively.

Digital Platform Administration

  • Assist with administration of digital platforms such as a Qlik Community, Partner Hub, SharePoint, the Intranet
  • Assist with running reports and analyzing data to help make business decisions

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Strong interest in IT, technology, online community building, and learning various digital platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Creative problem-solver who brings fresh ideas and solutions.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
