As a Tax Consulting Customs & International Trade Associate, you will engage in conducting research and analysis on tax laws, regulations, and policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information and advice. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to your team's success while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. Responsibilities
- Conducting research and analysis on tax laws, regulations, and policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information and advice
- Supporting the development of tax documentation and preparation of tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Engaging in customs brokerage activities, including preparing and submitting documentation for government clearance
- Collaborating with teams to address indirect tax controversies and provide guidance during audits or investigations
- Utilizing knowledge of international taxation to navigate tax treaties and avoid double taxation
- Participating in corporate tax planning to maximize business investments while adhering to regulations
- Applying tax technology solutions to enhance tax processes, compliance, and reporting
- Analyzing customs tariffs and valuation to determine applicable duties and taxes on imported goods
- Contributing to tax dispute resolution by employing negotiation and mediation techniques to facilitate settlements
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following field(s) of study: Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, International Business, Supply Chain
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $142,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
