  • Certifications in database programming such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc. and/or data visualization certifications such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • Certifications within cloud technology platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Certifications within predictive modeling and/or machine learning platforms such as Python, SAS, etc.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader with business consulting projects, preferably for a global network of professional services firms by the following:

  • Possesses analytics & problem solving capabilities;
  • Possesses extensive experience and proficiency with relational database models and writing SQL queries;
  • Possesses extensive experience with data visualization tools (e.g. QlikView, Tableau, Power BI);
  • Possesses experience using analytics tools and/or programming languages to derive insights and to effectively communicate those business insights to key stakeholders;
  • Demonstrates a knack for learning new technologies, innovating creative solutions, and pushing the boundaries on how we use technology to solve our clients' most complex problems;
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact and communicate effectively with external clients and internal firm leadership;
  • Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success with managing the identification and addressing of client needs including building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflows, budgets, billing, collection; and, preparing or coordinating complex written and verbal materials;
  • Possesses a fundamental understanding of key financial statements and accounting principles (e.g. accounting or finance formal education and/or related experience);
  • Demonstrates the ability to think critically about problems at hand and apply analytics strategy to solve problems and/or identify relevant observations for reporting;
  • Demonstrates the ability to clearly document work performed and observations identified while effectively communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; and,
  • Demonstrates a curiosity to dive headfirst into business needs, ask probing questions to unpack and explore a problem space, and collaborate with stakeholders to design technical solutions to those problems.

Demonstrates teaming capabilities by the following:

  • Demonstrates the ability to navigate and lead multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, cross-functional, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment;
  • Possesses experience leading analytic teams to solve complex business problems;
  • Demonstrates the ability to own self work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance;
  • Encourages teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeks diverse views for improvement and innovation; answering questions and providing direction to staff; coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback; and,
  • Possesses experience in a collaborative teaming environment working on analytics engagements while managing stakeholder and leadership expectations, preferably in a consulting or business analyst role.
