The Opportunity
As part of the Deals Business Recovery Services team you manage a wide range of projects related to financial underperformance, including accounting issues related to purchase accounting, divestitures, or other capital market transactions. As a Senior Manager you lead large projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while interacting with clients at a senior level to drive project success. You deliver quality client services-oriented reorganization accounting services and participate in managing client relationships.

Responsibilities
- Manage a wide range of projects related to financial underperformance
- Address accounting issues related to purchase accounting, divestitures, or other capital market transactions
- Deliver top-quality client services-oriented reorganization accounting services
- Innovate processes to maintain operational excellence
- Drive project success through elevated client interaction
- Participate in managing client relationships
- Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance
- Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7 years of experience

What Sets You Apart
- CPA, CFA, MBA, CIRA, CTP and/or other international designations preferred
- Managing accounting issues related to purchase accounting and divestitures
- Knowledge of accounting for troubled debt restructuring
- Delivering premium client services-oriented reorganization accounting services
- Managing client relationships and client service
- Analyzing complex accounting structures and financial statements
- Understanding the allowable scope of services for reorganization
- Delivering presentations on the spectrum of services to potential clients
- Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $280,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
