About the role.
We are seeking an entry-level Junior Graphic Designer who is keen on applying design theory, their knowledge in UX/UI design, and proficiency in Figma to help us on a journey of becoming a brand known for our seamless and delightful digital experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to translate business descriptions and visions into compelling mobile app and website designs that align with our brand's identity and goals. This role involves working closely with our marketing, member experience, and web development teams to create smart, frictionless, and on-brand app screens, website layouts, graphics, and other branding materials. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a passion for design, is eager to learn more, and is also open to working on projects that fall outside of the digital scope, and contribute to PURE's overall brand impression.

What you'll do
- Collaborate with the marketing, member experience and other stakeholders to understand the business vision and objectives for web design projects.
- Use Figma to create innovative website designs and mobile app screens that are visually appealing and enhance user experience.
- Translate business descriptions and goals into concrete design concepts, ensuring they align with the current brand guidelines.
- Develop and present design prototypes to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize designs.
- Work closely with web developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and maintain design consistency throughout the development process.
- Support the Creative Team with presentation needs for events and meetings.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in website design and usability.
What we're looking for.
- 2-3 years of proven corporate design experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing website/mobile app designs created with Figma.
- Proficiency in Figma, including a deep understanding of its tools and features for website design.
- Proficiency in Adobe CS, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction and usability principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, communicate design ideas clearly and respond to feedback constructively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in translating business concepts into high-impact visual designs.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development principles is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Enthusiasm, willingness, and a good attitude.

The base salary for this role can range from $80k-$95k, based on a full-time work schedule. An individual's ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience.
