As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering high-quality software products. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contribute to the development of new features, and maintain existing codebases. Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all aspects of the Agile Scrum development process.
  • Develop and maintain software applications using software languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, Angular, .Net, SQL, etc.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners/Leads to understand requirements and implement solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and high-quality delivery.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Continuously improve processes and suggest innovative solutions.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other analytical disciplines, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in software development with Agile methodologies
  • 3+ years of experience in one or more programming languages including.NET Core OR .NET framework 4.0+ including C#, MVC and Microsoft Entity Framework or other open source ORMs
  • 3+ years of experience working with enterprise database management system (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Informix, Teradata)
  • 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following: Angular, HTML, DHTML, CSS, TypeScript, and RESTful Web API, JavaScript, jQuery
  • 3+ years of experience designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks.
  • 1+ year of experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • 2+ years of experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
  • 2+ years of experience with writing automation test suite for .net code using unit test frameworks like xUnit, nUnit etc..


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • 3+ years of experience with technologies such as: Micro Services Architecture (MSA), Kafka, Docker, Telerik Splunk, Kubernetes (AKS, Redhat OpenShift, etc.), Azure DevOps, and automation pipelines CI/CD, Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, IoT Hub
  • 1+ years of experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • 1+ years of experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Certification in Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud solution architecture patterns and design principles, of different attributes for cloud application availability and scalability, and the ability to propose optimized design for cloud.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting data and process governance of distribution system compliance in accordance with company policies, standards, and SOX requirements.
  • 1+ years of experience in implementing enterprise application using platform services like notification hubs such as SignalR, Event hubs etc..

Year End Bonus

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month's extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
