Senior Research & Proposals Specialist

This role is responsible for partnering with Sales Support Manager to lead a team of Sales Support Associates who provide sales-cycle and administrative support to assigned account management and sales team members for life, disability, supplemental health and Medical Stop Loss group insurance customers for both NAO and Premier.
This role requires a comprehensive knowledge of the prospect and customer base, producer relationships, key contacts, products offered and must develop a proficiency with relevant Prudential systems and software. Specific responsibilities include:
• Manage a team of 4-5 Sales Assistants.
• Responsible for staff supervision and development, training, special projects, reporting, updating job aids/SOPs and ad hoc requests.
• Foster employee development and engagement; build skills and capabilities for greater organizational impact.
• A solid understanding of compliance policies and procedures and familiarity with products, services, administration systems and distribution methodology are required.
• Work with internal partners to continually improve processes and service we provide to our customers.
• Partner with SSA Manager to ensure consistency of processes and support across the broader Client Relationship Management and Sales teams.
• Ensure that the team handles all proposals timely and accurately, and that they are successfully supporting the Sales and Account teams to ensure best possible sales and customer persistency outcomes.
• Serve as a resource to the team for any escalated issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
• A solid understanding of broker systems and designated Inbox process. Work with the strategic partner team to help resolve any specific broker proposal system issues.
What you'll need to succeed:
• Strong interpersonal skills, clear communication skills, team orientation, and the ability to work with business partners across the organization.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work within defined timelines. Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Leadership experience desired.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
What we offer you:
Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $83,500.00 to $129,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
