The Chief Investment Office (CIO) is responsible for the management of the investment portfolios of Prudential's General Accounts through its U.S. Portfolio Management, Global Portfolio Management, Alternative Assets Group, and Global Hedge Management units. With over $400 billion in assets under management, the CIO Organization is responsible for asset/liability management, interest rate risk management, oversight and reporting on product investment margin performance, and capital markets hedging activities.

Our Team:
This position is part of the Global Portfolio Management ("GPM") team within Prudential's CIO Organization. This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of portfolio management for Prudential's international insurance businesses, including asset/ liability management and portfolio construction.

Each international business is subject to specific capital regimes, investment universes, regulatory structures, and support requirements which PII CIO addresses individually. In addition, the company relies on IPM's Investment expertise for M&A and other transactions within PII as it seeks strategic opportunities for growth.

The role focuses on Prudential's Emerging Markets portfolio and provides critical hands-on support in the research, design, and implementation of investment strategies. The position will report to the Investment Vice President of the Emerging Markets Team and supports the PII Chief Investment Office.

Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with regional investment teams on portfolio management topics including asset/liability management (ALM), portfolio construction, portfolio positioning, new investment initiatives, product development initiatives
• Analyze drivers of investment results in addition to developing analytical tools and reporting capabilities
• Build investment-related presentations to management
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives with other business and corporate areas
• Facilitate investment-related governance processes

What you'll need:
• Bachelor's degree required.

• 2+ years work experience required for consideration as Senior Analyst
• The ideal candidate is motivated, curious, proactive and enjoys being challenged
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills, as well as the desire to work with business partners of different national and cultural backgrounds
• Knowledge of investments, asset allocation theory, and fixed income mathematics is preferred for Analyst, required for Senior Analyst
• Strong technical skills, including ability to develop data models in Excel and exposure to computer programming, are a plus
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin is a plus

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $95,000 to $105,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
