What you will do

As a Specialist, Program Management-Technology Training and Talent Development in PGIM Global Services-Tech Strategy and Transformation, you will partner with folks in PGIM Technology to support the future state technology strategy by empowering people to upskill and develop their skills. You will be accountable for identifying, documenting, and managing dependencies, issues & risks, and deliverables across the program or collection of projects to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services, and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to applied experience, you will bring excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude, and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.

What you can expect

  • Technology Training: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the technical skills of team members, ensuring they are equipped with the latest knowledge and tools.
  • Talent Development: Identify skill gaps and create development plans to help team members grow in their roles and advance their careers.
  • Program Goals: Understand program goals and contribute to building components, processes, and sequences.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to develop accurate reports and summaries.
  • Process Improvement: Work under the direction of leadership to contribute ideas to help resolve gaps in key processes or procedures. Support the development of new procedures and policies to streamline new or existing processes.
  • Technical Direction: Bring a deep understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, give technical direction to team members, and embed learning and innovation in day-to-day activities.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Report out on key program details to a disparate set of stakeholders and manage how those details impact tangential programs, initiatives, or projects.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with Business Partners, Control Partners, 3rd-party Vendors, and other GT Stakeholders to establish and maintain alignment on Program Objectives, Approach, and Progress.
  • Communication: Lead in crafting and delivering key messages/communications to Program Stakeholders.
  • Cross-Team Execution: Help manage cross-team execution of the program deliverables/outcomes with minimal guidance.

What you will bring

  • Educational Background: Bachelor of Computer Science, Engineering, Information systems or experience in related fields.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead independently with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization.
  • Agile Development: Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Business Insight: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business.
  • Continuous Learning: Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges.
  • Problem Solving: Deep knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving interpersonal, operational, or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem-solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Producing Results: Understanding the criticality of getting things done in spite of current circumstances and the ability to apply assigned resources and leverage back-channel resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $110,000-$130,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
