What you will do

As a Lead, Strategic Initiatives on/in PGIM Global Services Tech Strategy and Transformation Team you will collaborate across PGIM Technology on the development, prioritization, and implementation of a range of strategies and initiatives to drive profitable growth through technology implementation, vendor services, workforce strategy and to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services, and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to advanced technical expertise and experience, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with business agility, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus.

What you can expect

  • Support innovation and technology through process improvements and challenging the status quo
  • Implement change to improve efficiencies/transformation via new technologies or process improvement
  • Manage teams to executes plans and deliver expected outcomes of strategic initiatives that may impacting multiple functional areas.
  • Work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires evaluating intangible variables. Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Support the development and ongoing refinement of the overall strategy and strategic priorities for PGIM affiliates and central services
  • Drive the development of insights on trends and market intelligence to inform decision-making
  • Support the strategic initiatives development and prioritization process to develop and assess the strategic initiatives that will have greatest impact on the business and its customers
  • Provide as-needed support for key strategic projects for PGIM affiliates and central services while collaborating with other strategy team members and partners from various businesses and functions
  • Work on the development of strategy documents and communication materials, including business and strategic reviews to senior leaders, CTOs, and excutives
  • As needed, partner with Corporate Development (M&A) and Finance to develop and assess potential acquisitions.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields
  • Ability to coach others with minimal guidance effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills

What will set you apart

  • Financial/Insurance industry experience is a plus, not a must

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $130,000-$160,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
