What you will do:

We are looking for an Institutional Fixed Income Writer with extensive experience in asset management. A strong working knowledge of fixed income asset classes is required.

Other requirements include talent to write clear, concise content in an established institutional tone; editing institutional text in a clear manner that preserves the authors' intent and messaging; the ability to efficiently interact with investment professionals and senior management; the creation of thought leadership materials involving technical fixed income topics; and the ability to interpret content metrics into tangible concepts or themes in the future.

This position directly interacts with US and global teams from investment management, sales, client service, technology, and other business groups.

What you can expect:

  • Responsibilities include the development of clear, concise content and communication in support of all institutional sales, client service and investment efforts globally.
  • Support writing and editing of sponsored commentaries, product commentaries, investment commentaries, thought leadership materials, topical white papers, quarterly outlooks, customized RFP responses, and marketing materials across US, Europe and Asia.
  • Development of targeted marketing initiatives that will further the PGIM Fixed Income brand globally.
  • Partnership with technology in driving advancements in generative applications.

What you will bring:

  • We are looking for a candidate with in-depth knowledge of fixed income markets, credit analysis, economics, or asset management marketing with 7-10 years of direct experience. Financial journalism experience is welcome.
  • Ability to turn technical opinions and concepts into clear, concise communication for a broad constituency of clients, prospects, and consultants.
  • B.A or B.S. degree in a related discipline. MBA or CFA highly desirable.
  • Strong market knowledge, experience with securities analysis, extensive practical and industry knowledge, and the ability to integrate critical information from diverse areas.
  • The capacity to fully comprehend the investment organization's products, processes, and service needs and implement those aspects into the role.
  • Previous experience working with senior management and investment professionals.
  • Highly responsive, a team player with a collaborative style.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $145,000 to $180,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
