What you will do
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst to support the investment team in trading operations, client service, compliance, and platform development efforts. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure across multiple facets of our investment platform, particularly focused on the 3(c)(7) portfolio. The role requires strong analytical skills, an interest in financial markets, and a collaborative mindset.

What you can expect:
- Trade Support - Assist in the execution and monitoring of trades within the 3(c)(7) portfolio, providing support to the trading desk and ensuring trade accuracy and timeliness. May also serve as a back-up trader for SMA accounts.
- Client Service Triage - Serve as the first line of response for client service inquiries, escalating issues when necessary and tracking resolutions through to completion.
- Cross-Team Collaboration - Work closely with Custom Harvest (CH) client service and trade support teams to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery across trading and client-facing workflows. Collaborate with internal teams to test new processes and workflows across systems. Identify process inefficiencies and help implement improvements.
- Compliance & Documentation - Support compliance initiatives by maintaining accurate trade and procedural documentation. Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal controls.
- General Platform Operations - Provide general support across trading, client reporting, and operational workflows as needed. Maintain a high standard of data integrity across systems.
- Investment Research: May contribute to research or projects geared towards enhancing our current investment strategies and or/new product development.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Data Science or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a trading environment including operations, or trading support preferred. CFA designation, or progress towards, is a plus.
- Familiarity with investment products, particularly alternative structures like 3(c)(7) portfolios, a plus
- Strong Excel skills; experience with OMS, EMS, or CRM systems is a plus. Additionally, familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or Morningstar or proficiency in Python, R or similar programming languages is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team player with an eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks
Salary Range Disclosure
Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $120,000 to $140,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
