Timeline:
The internship program will run from Monday, June 1st, 2026, to Friday, August 7th, 2026.
We review applications on a rolling basis, and we encourage you to apply as soon as you are ready. All fall applications will close on or by Friday, October 31st, 2025, at midnight ET. We reserve the right to close applications early due to volume or role(s) being filled.
Applications for all other businesses will open on August 4th. To ensure you are considered for the opportunities you want most, you are only able to apply to 3 positions per recruitment season.
What You Can Expect:

As a PGIM Technology Intern, you will work alongside global industry experts in technology and data transformation to drive meaningful outcomes. You will code, test and debug new and existing applications as you implement capabilities to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services, and experiences to ultimately impact our customers and business strategies! During this 10-week summer internship experience, you will develop intensive technical and business skills with our robust training program preparing you for a future career opportunity in the areas of data, software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, delivery, and business analysis.

Your Typical Day:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on real-world projects in areas such as software engineering, data analytics, product management, or business process optimization.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions or process improvements using tools like Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Power BI, Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Python, SQL, etc.
- Shadow senior technologists and business analysts, gaining exposure to enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Complete role-based learning pathways to build foundational and advanced skills to be successful within PGIM Technology teams.
- Engage in intern-specific programming such as networking events, speaker series with senior leadership, and professional development workshops.
- Present project updates or final deliverables to stakeholders, receiving feedback and mentorship to support your growth.
- Contribute to innovative initiatives, such as proof-of-concept development or process automation pilots, depending on your track.
- Potential to write code if placed in highly technical role such as software engineer, data engineer, platform engineer, data science, machine learning, etc.
The goal of the summer internship is to identify and pipeline top technology talent for our 18-month PGIM Technology rotational program, where you can further impact the innovative success of our global businesses. Through high-impact experiences and diverse rotations focused on engineering and data skills, the full-time program develops you for future roles at PGIM. This program combines on-the-job training with formal education experiences, special project assignments, mentoring, coaching and engagement with senior leaders.

Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor's program
- For rising senior candidates, they must be graduating between December 2026 and May 2027
- For rising junior candidates, they must be graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
- PGIM does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the ability to work in one of the locations listed at the top of this requisition without corporate sponsorship to be eligible for consideration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant majors and minors for these technical roles include any blend of business and technical education including Computer Science, Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Business Analysis, etc.
- Leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
- Ability to learn new skills/knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
- Familiarity and interest with the following:
- Object-oriented design concepts, data structures, and algorithms
- Programming languages, technology stacks and/or data tools such as: Python, Java or JavaScript, SQL, Apache Spark
- Microsoft cloud-based services such as Azure, Fabric, Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot, Purview, etc.
- Technology security and support
- Application Programming Interfaces (API)
- UX/UI design for user interfaces and end user testing/tooling (functional & non-functional)
- Data warehousing
- Data analytics and reporting capabilities
- Automated testing
- Accessibility awareness
- Dev Ops Tools & Practices: GitHub, Bitbucket
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Monitoring and logging techniques
- Agile methodology including Agile Scrum, Kanban, or Lean
Our Application Process:

Note: The hourly range for this role is $35.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
