Reporting to the Vice President Ecosystems and Operations, this role will oversee content management across Prudential's communication platforms, namely our employee homepage/intranet, our company newsroom, and our internal and client-facing functional SharePoint sites. This involves liaising with our editorial content partners as primary content generators, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards for ADA, privacy, and information security, and serving as the platform owner charged with delivering a consistent, dynamic, and engaging user experience on owned communications platforms.

The Platform Management Manager will implement quality assurance measures for style, voice, and adherence to enterprise standards and develop and assist in implementing editorial and design strategies that enhance connectivity across owned platforms in support of enterprise initiatives. This individual will build content, as appropriate, and oversee the content coordination and publishing workflow, including quality assurance reviews. The incumbent will also liaise with our intelligence and analytics team to ensure fulsome platform metrics to inform ongoing content and employee experience decisions.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

  • Oversee the strategic roadmap(s) for Prudential Communications' owned platforms and ensure it aligns with measurable business outcomes and the overarching enterprise communications strategy.
  • Build and enforce the strategic vision and direction for the platforms, including outcomes to be delivered.
  • Contribute to and manage the execution of the editorial strategy across owned platforms, in support of the editorial, content, and design services lead.
  • Establish and champion the relevance of the platforms within the function and the broader enterprise.
  • Set guiding principles and success criteria for content and publishing, remove barriers to execution, and shape demand for enterprise platform engagement.
  • Devise platform governance policies to ensure alignment with Prudential Communications' content and style standards and enterprise standards and policies covering ADA, privacy, and information security.
  • Establish governance criteria for platform access and use and manage editorial partner access and training for publishers across the ecosystem.
  • Work closely with internal intelligence partners to set target employee engagement metrics across owned channels.
  • Establish and manage a content archival process to ensure the accuracy of information and relevancy to partners.
  • Partner with vendors and internal technology enablement collaborators to address any incidents or critical issues and updates to the platforms as part of the strategic roadmap.
  • Perform regular system checks to ensure platforms are operational, publishing/visual standards are maintained, and a seamless user experience is maintained.

What you'll need:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience, communications experience preferred; bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in content and channel management, and project management
  • Proficiency in writing and editing.
  • Self-starter with a client-centric and solutions mentality, and ability to work in a matrixed environment

  • Approachable executive presence; ability to build positive relationships at all levels
  • A leader and doer who knows when to delegate and when to roll up sleeves

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $107,200.00 to $159,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
