Business Analyst - Group Insurance Sales Enablement Position Overview: The Business Analyst is a versatile team member focused on developing tools and solutions for our Journey Teams, supporting our customers, advisors, and employees. In this entry-level role, you will help define business requirements, create clear process and integration maps, and work closely with Product Owners (POs) and stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical and constituent focused. You'll operate within an Agile framework and support initiatives that improve the end-to-end experience.
This is a Hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
Gathering & Documentation
- Collaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to gather, assess, and document business needs for sales enablement, underwriting, and quoting processes.
- Create mockups, wireframes, or visual aids to demonstrate requirements and proposed solutions.
- Map current and future state processes and integrations using tools such as Miro or Visio.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to clarify requirements, document feedback, and build consensus.
- Drive stakeholder buy-in on requirements and document decisions for traceability and change control.

Process Improvement & End-to-End Experience:
- Contribute ideas to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Support initiatives that leverage customer insights to improve or redesign the current experience.
Agile Team & Product Owner Support:
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). - Work closely with the PO to ensure changes are effectively controlled, communicated, and implemented.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): - Support test planning, execution, and documentation to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.
- Project Coordination: - Assist with project activities such as meeting scheduling, task tracking, and status reporting.
Required Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and collaborative sessions to drive requirements clarity and alignment.
- Experience or aptitude in creating mockups, wireframes, or process maps.
- Interest in learning business analysis, Agile practices, and process documentation.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively, take direction, and develop new skills in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or progress toward degree) in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Exposure to or experience in Underwriting, Group Insurance, or Quoting processes.
- Internship or coursework related to business analysis or insurance is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is helpful but not required. Tool Experience (a plus, but not required):
- Miro or Visio (for process mapping and visual design)
- JIRA or RALLY or COPADO (for Agile project tracking) - Excel and Word (for documentation and reporting)

What we offer you:
Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $70,300.00 to $116,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
