We are searching for an Associate Manager Financial Communications & Strategic Media Relations who is a highly motivated, resourceful, and skilled individual. This role will work with partners across the firm to tell our financial and strategic transformation story, with a focus on driving core earnings, M&A, and other financial communications processes, and producing positive media engagement.

Reporting to the Director, Financial Communications & Media Relations, this role will be a key partner to Investor Relations, Legal, Corporate Governance, SEC Reporting, and Finance, as well as business leaders across the enterprise.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

  • Support cross-functional workstreams related to M&A announcements, earnings preparation, and other complex processes, with guidance from other members of the financial communications team.
  • Write and edit core communications materials including press releases, talking points, employee communications, and communications plans related to financial announcements.
  • Serve as a key day-to-day communications partner for Investor Relations, Legal, Corporate Governance, and SEC Reporting.
  • Identify, develop, pitch and place prime story opportunities that amplify the company's Vision, business and financial story, building and leverage a robust network of media contacts.
  • Oversee media inquiries about quarterly earnings and financial matters, M&A, material business developments and governance issues, in partnership with other team members.

What you'll need:

  • 3-5 years of professional communications experience, with experience in financial communications, media relations, or public relations preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex multi-partner projects
  • General understanding of evolving media relations landscape and ability to identify emerging storytelling opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior leaders and other cross-functional partners.
  • Outstanding written, oral, and communications skills, ideally including experience writing messaging, communications plans, press releases, media pitches, and FAQs.
  • Ability to connect the dots across the organization and turn complex ideas into stories and visual concepts easily understood by a broad audience.
  • High level of independence and exceptional organization in planning, prioritizing, and simultaneous projects and activities.
  • Discretion working with confidential information.
  • Thrives in high pressure situations, demonstrating sound judgment and providing confident, proactive counsel to leadership and other internal team members.

The salary range for this role is from $90,100.00 to $134,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
