Swedish Regional Medical Director | Primary Care

Swedish Medical Group is seeking an accomplished Regional Medical Director to oversee six productive Primary Care clinics located in the Seattle region. The responsibilities of this role include provider management, clinical rounding, recruitment, onboarding, provider engagement, quality metrics among other duties. Previous experience as a clinic or group medical director managing other providers is highly preferred. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead one of the Pacific Northwest's premier primary care groups. Interested applicants should submit a CV and cover letter with their application.

  • 0.7 FTE administrative duties, 0.3 FTE clinical
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience required
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in Family or Internal Medicine required
  • Population health, value-based care experience a plus
  • Compensation is between $300,000 and $333,000 per year
  • Comprehensive benefit package
  • The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.

Swedish Medical Group is an integrated team of more than 1,300 physicians and advanced practice clinicians serving the greater Seattle area. As part of Swedish Health System, medical group providers benefit from centralized system support and a shared EMR (Epic). With easy access to seven Swedish Medical Center campuses, providers are able to serve northwest Washington residents with superior integrated, coordinated care.
