Are you passionate about bridging technology and healthcare to improve patient communication? Join our team as a Senior Department Systems Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in enhancing language access services across the Swedish system.

In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with the Linguistic Services Manager, serving as a vital link between Swedish IS/IT teams and external vendors. You'll help design, launch, and evaluate Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and telephonic interpretation projects, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility across departments.

You'll also collaborate with clinical teams to implement these services effectively, supporting operational excellence and helping maintain high standards of interpretation service delivery.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, business, technical, social services or health related field --or--
  • 4 years of training, related experience or combination of both may be substituted for the degree requirement
  • 5 years of progressive technical experience in information/telecom technology
  • This experience may include project management or clinical operations with a project focus
  • 2 years of video conferencing/VRI
  • This experience may include project management or clinical operations with a project focus
  • 1 year of experience managing programs and/or projects
  • 1 year of strong background in high-volume customer service experience, preferable in a Healthcare environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in social service or medical environment helpful; preferably related to providing interpreter services to the public working with limited English Speaking (LEP) and/or Deaf/Hard of Hearing populations

Providence Swedish is the largest not-for-profit health care system in the greater Puget Sound area.
