Description
The Senior Genetics Clinic Assistant (Sr. GA) provides basic clinical support to patients under the care and supervision of the genetics managers, supervisors, and other licensed personnel. The Sr. GA may obtain consent, provide video education, document personal and family medical history, and collect biological sample for genetic testing with oversight of a licensed genetics counselor/provider.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Biological/Health Sciences. Or equivalent educ/experience.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Within 1 year of hire Genetics Assistant Certificate.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training Genetics Assistant Certificate. Or equivalent educ/experience.
- Coursework/Training Venipuncture, Phlebotomy.
- Experience with medical terminology.
