Family Medicine Physician, Program Director

Seeking a full-time, board-certified Family Medicine physician to serve as the Program Director for the Providence Swedish ACGME accredited Cherry Hill Family Medicine Residency.

This influential leader must have the skills to continually develop the faculty and assure alignment with the larger Providence Swedish mission to serve the Seattle area community. The Program Director will have responsibility, authority, and accountability for administration and operations of the core residency program; leadership and development of teaching faculty; teaching and scholarly activity; resident recruitment, selection, evaluation, and promotion; supervision of residents; and resident education in the ACGME core competencies.

In addition to the residency program development, the Program Director is responsible for oversight of multiple continuity clinics, collaborating with Swedish Family Medicine First Hill and Rural Training Residency programs and coordination with other Providence Swedish Graduate Medical Education programs.

Position Details:

  • Minimum of 5 years of faculty experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience required
  • Ability to lead the program and develop a strategy and vision for training graduates
  • Ensuring the residency program meets all requirements for maintaining ACGME accreditation, assuring that graduates will succeed in meeting ACGME core competency requirements
  • Compensation is between $248,777 and $326,760 per year

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
