Institutional Fixed Income Trader

This position is for an Institutional Fixed Income Trader to support the business which includes correspondence with dealers, salespeople, institutional accounts, and retail accounts. You will also need to operate using multiple on-line trading platforms. Experience with Municipals, Agencies and Mortgage-Backed Securities is required.  Additionally, you will have the ability to cover any accounts in a production type role on an “account by account” basis, with prior approval from the Managing Director.

Qualifications:

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 license, required.
  • 5+ years' experience in Financial Services with Municipals, Agencies, and Mortgage-Backed Securities, required.
  • Experience with on-line trading platforms.
  • Bachelor degree, preferred

Protective’s targeted salary range for this position is $74,000 to $115,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective’s total compensation package for employees.
 
This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through cash compensation as part of a sales incentive plan (SIP).
