This position requires a strong level of experience, initiative and job knowledge of products & procedures used for processing a variety of transactions related to Term, Whole Life, Universal Life and policies. Responsibilities include resolving, analyzing and/or processing complex research inquiries and status transactions. Additional responsibilities include checking & approving a variety of transactions using multiple administrative systems, preparing complete and accurate documentations; maintaining comprehensive understanding of products, forms, systems, procedures and specialty products (Indexed UL, Health, Industrial, etc.) and the rules and regulations required for processing. This representative may provide training and support where needed, is able to effectively perform other administrative functions as assigned, exhibits proficient leadership skills, an exceptional degree of professionalism and is viewed as a resource by manager and others.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Applies advanced knowledge to research and resolve inquiries for deceased owner, tax inquiries, manual cash value & surrender calculations, interpreting legal documents, manual calculations for surrender & cash values, PS-58, US-58, interpolated terminal reserve & form 712, check reversal/reissues, premium & loan histories, viatical owned policies, etc.  Resolves status requests for overloans, restricted policies, policies in grace or expired, deleting & adding trailers, calculating & adding interest amounts, tefra requests, and various other status related requests for all lines of businesses using multiple systems.
  • Answers calls and/or escalated requests for both internal & external customers. Prepares complete and accurate documentations; checks and approves a variety of transactions using multiple administrative systems.
  • Participates on projects, supports manager, Team Support Specialists, Trainer and miscellaneous duties as assigned. 

Work Experience, Education, Certification/Training Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 4-5 years’ work experience in a customer service related position, College Degree a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Term, Whole Life, Universal Life, Health and Indexed Universal Life
  • Advanced experience with Life-Comm/Next Gen/ApXtender/OneSource/CMOD
  • Advanced knowledge of team processes.
