We are seeking a highly motivated Substance Use Disorder CMS Biller and Coding Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the billing and coding processes for a variety of substance use disorder treatments, including behavioral therapy, medication-assisted treatment, and detoxification.
CMS Billing and Coding Specialist
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Review and process claims for substance use disorder treatment services
· Ensure that billing is compliant with CMS and other insurance provider requirements
· Correct and resubmit denied claims in a timely manner
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CMS regulations and billing procedures
· Communicate effectively with insurance providers to resolve payment issues
· Review treatment plans and medical records to ensure accurate coding
· Monitor revenue and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
· Collaborate with treatment teams to improve billing processes and support better patient outcomes
CMS Billing and Coding Specialist
Requirements:
· 3+ years of experience in medical billing and coding, with a focus on substance use disorder treatment
· Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and billing procedures
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy/physiology

Education:
· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Schedule:
• Full Time
• Monday - Friday
• 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Compensation:
• Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
