Human Resources Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Administrator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's People Resources Department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that documents are accurately completed and filed appropriately
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation.
  • Pre-Employment/Employment Administrative Tasks: Background Check, MVR, Employment Agreements, I9s
  • Assist with tier one employee inquiries by responding to frequently asked questions from candidates and employees related to hiring, policies, or people practices
  • Payroll, Benefits, Transfer/Change Job, Culture & Engagement, Intranet - PowerLife
  • May assist with addressing minor HRIS (Nitro) processing errors: Hire, Change Job, Term
  • Facilitates and supports new hire preparation, onboarding & orientation
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manager sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Apple iWork Suite
  • Proficient with the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS) and similar computer applications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree Preferred
  • 1 - 3 Year experience Preferred
  • Prior related office experience Preferred
