POLITICO is looking for a reporter to join our team covering EU politics out of Brussels.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of reporting impact and the ideas and skills to land stories about the EU and the Brussels bubble that make POLITICO stand out.

POLITICO prides itself on producing distinctive, addictive journalism that gets the EU bubble and those watching from afar talking. We drive conversations that matter and do so in ways that surprise and entertain our readers.

The role will be part of a team of ambitious reporters leading the coverage of issues ranging from EU enlargement and migration, to the internal politics of the EU institutions and the race for top jobs in an election year.

• Strong track record in news journalism, with ability to write both quick spot stories and longer news stories;
• Ability to work under pressure and on deadline;
• Knowledge of European politics and deep sourcing in Brussels;
• Strong English-language writing skills;
• Proficiency in other European languages.
