POLITICO is seeking an experienced Mobile Developer to join our pioneering and growing media company in Brussels.

Political decision making is distributed, disorganized and generally hard to follow at a larger scale, this is the issue we work on at POLITICO. By collecting, normalizing, organizing and presenting information in a thoughtful way we give individuals and organizations greater insight into political processes around the world.

What You'll Do

• As a mobile developer at POLITICO you'll be joining a small team in charge of our mobile development effort, working closely with the rest of the tech team.
• You will be part of an agile development team dedicated to building the technology which delivers our POLITICO Pro platform to policy professionals.
• Ensure app stability and monitor user reviews on AppStore/PlayStore. Handling build pipelines for both platforms.
• Our team holds itself to the highest standard. Employing techniques such as conventional commits, continuous integration, test driven development, infrastructure as code and agile development during two-week sprints.

• Proven experience working with JavaScript, React and React Native, preferably native integrations too
• Fluency in English; any other European language is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable in an international environment.

• Consuming GraphQL APIs with apollo
• Working with push notifications.
• Using React Navigation and Tailwind CSS
• Managing dependencies with Cocoapods and Gradle
