COMPANY: POLITICO
POLITICO is seeking a dynamic and motivated graduate to join our Media Solutions team as an Ad Operations Trainee for 6 months starting in July 2024.
In this role, you'll join many other talented professionals in our pioneering and growing media company, and receive in-depth training in Media, campaign trafficking, and advertising operations.
The Advertising Operations team is the experts on the processes and systems that support the delivery of POLITICO's digital advertising campaigns. We are looking for a team player to understand our digital ad products and ad server tools to support campaign executions and related projects.

- Support the Ad Operations team with the delivery of campaigns across main channels - desktop, mobile, newsletter, print, video, podcasts, social media
- Handle requests and book order/line items on Google Ad Manager, set and prepare ad campaign launch
- Ensure advertising creatives follow ad policies and specifications upon launch
- Collaborate to keep internal documentation up-to-date on ad benchmarks, trackers, reports, and workflows
- Generate previews and take screenshots of live campaigns on multiple devices
- Oversee and monitor the performance of ongoing campaigns to ensure proper execution and delivery
- Support the day-to-day operational needs of the Media Solutions organization
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Familiarity with MS Excel and basic web languages (HTML, CSS, etc.)
- Good communication skills
- Dynamic and proactive attitude
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and very organized approach to daily tasks
- Fluent in English, written and spoken, and any other European language
- Sense of humor
