The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.

You will guide solution architecture across a rich tech stack and enable business agility through innovative technology, secure platforms, and scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement enterprise grade solutions using a broad stack: Java, Spring Boot, OCP (OpenShift), Kubernetes, Angular, React, Kafka, SQL Server, and Connect\:Direct.
• Architect microservices and micro frontends leveraging module federation for scalable, composable applications.
• Apply MACH architecture principles (Microservices, APIfirst, Cloudnative, Headless) to deliver flexible, future-ready systems.
• Lead REST and SOAP API design and integration, enabling seamless data exchange across internal and external systems.
• Build and modernize applications, including legacy migrations, new environment setups, and greenfield development initiatives.
• Integrate tools and platforms such as Flowable (BPM/Workflow), LogScale (observability/log analytics), and DocuSign-like esignature capabilities.
• Develop and enforce CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, with branching strategies, SonarQube quality gates, and automated testing.
• Drive secure development by implementing vulnerability scanning, remediation practices, and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Architect rules engines using Drools, enabling flexible, dynamic business logic separation from application code.
• Define data models and workflows to enable analytics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks, including integration with BI platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and mentor engineering teams across domains and time zones.
• Encourage out of the box thinking, lead architectural decisions under pressure, and inspire a culture of technical excellence.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development and architectural leadership.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring ecosystem, Angular/React, Kafka, and SQL Server.
• Proven track record in microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes/OCP), and module federation for micro frontends.
• Experience with workflow engines (e.g., Flowable), rules engines (e.g., Drools), and API integrations (REST & SOAP).
• Handson experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), SonarQube, and branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow).
• Strong knowledge of security vulnerability management, container/image scanning, and compliance best practices.
• Proficiency in setting up and optimizing analytics and reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with observability tools like LogScale, ELK stack, Prometheus/Grafana.
• Experience with thirdparty platform integration, including DocuSign, payment gateways, and identity platforms.
• Excellent team leadership and mentoring abilities; capable of driving architecture across multiple teams.
• High emotional intelligence, resilience under pressure, and strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with MACH architecture, composable commerce, or headless CMS systems.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, OAuth2/OpenID, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Kubernetes, Java, AWS/GCP/Azure, OpenShift).
• Previous experience Commercial Lending and or Financial Institution.
