Risk & Control Advisor - Enterprise Risk Management

As a Risk & Control Advisor within PNCs Enterprise Risk Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.
This position is primarily based in a PNC location in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager's discretion.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Be the Enterprise Issues Management (EIM) Framework expert; this includes having a deep understanding of the Issues Management Policy and Procedure requirements, and a working knowledge of the Issues Management Module within the Archer eGRC.
• Manage and lead the EIM Working Group which includes preparation of topics, materials, and facilitation of the meeting.
• Enhance effectiveness of the Issues Management Framework through the creation of training, educational guides, and updating the Issues Management Policy and Procedure in Policy & Governance Application (PGA).
• Engage with service partners across all 3 Lines of Defense to assist in the use of the Issues Management Framework through review and challenge, monitoring, providing support and answering questions on the framework.
• Lead new Issues Management Framework initiatives to support the automation and process improvement of the existing Framework and processes.
• Partner with the ERM Framework Technology Enablement Team in defining business requirements to develop technology driven solutions, testing, and driving adoption of changes through effective communications and training others.
• Design and implement the EIM training plan in partnership with PNCU
• Participate in the quarterly execution of the Risk Reporting process which may include leading and participating in quarterly working groups, performing aggregate analysis of the Enterprise Issues population, and providing support on the quality review of Risk Reports to ensure adherence to the Risk Reporting Standards.
Skills you will leverage and develop within this role include ability to present and influence, relationship building, strategic thinking, project management, process improvement, change management, analytical skills, and Risk Framework ownership. This individual should be self-motivated, organized, inquisitive, and have a continuous improvement mindset.

Job Description
- Partners within risk management to plan and execute the risk management program and corresponding communication strategies. Engages the lines of business to review and challenge compliance with programs.
- Coordinates and implements the risk management program to meet regulatory expectations.
- Coordinates the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and across the lines of business. Includes consultation to execute the program components.
- Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Technology Risk, etc.) to proactively identify risk exposures across PNC.
- Challenges business self assessment results (including new initiatives, business as usual activities, and risk management program) and reviews applicable independent analyses.
