Job Description
As a Business Experience Planning & Administration Advisor Sr, you will lead finance annual and continuous planning and provide advanced analytics and executive reporting that enable investment decisions, delivery accountability, and value realization across our portfolio. You will establish and run the operating rhythms that connect strategy → investment → execution → outcomes, ensuring leaders have clear visibility into priorities, forecasts, spend, delivery performance, and risks.
This role requires a highly organized, outcomes-driven professional who is hyper focused on advanced reporting and dashboarding (Power BI, Power Apps/Power Platform), comfortable operating in ambiguity, and confident engaging directly with C-Suite and senior executives-translating complex data into decisive, executive-ready narratives and recommendations.
Core Responsibilities
Finance Annual & Continuous Planning Leadership
- Lead end-to-end annual planning for the function, including timeline orchestration, intake, prioritization support, consolidation of inputs, validation, and executive readouts.
- Drive continuous planning (monthly/quarterly reforecasts, plan variance reviews, scenario planning), ensuring decisions are anchored in current data and delivery realities.
- Establish planning governance (calendars, milestones, decision points, entry/exit criteria) and ensure stakeholder readiness for leadership and finance forums.
- Partner with finance and portfolio stakeholders to connect plan assumptions to delivery capacity and forecast accuracy-raising issues early and recommending corrective actions.

Advanced Analytics, Reporting & Executive Dashboarding (Power BI / Power Apps)
- Design, build, and maintain executive-grade dashboards that provide a single source of truth across planning, spend, forecasting, delivery performance, and value outcomes using Power BI.
- Build and manage Power Apps / Power Platform solutions to streamline planning intake, approvals, workflow tracking, and data quality controls-reducing manual reporting effort and cycle time.
- Create advanced reporting artifacts (executive scorecards, drill-down views, automated distribution, QBR-ready and Board-ready materials) with consistent standards for definitions, visuals, and narratives.
- Develop and continuously improve the underlying data structures and reporting logic (KPIs, metric definitions, consistent hierarchies) to ensure integrity, comparability, and repeatability of reporting.
Delivery Analytics & Portfolio Performance Insights
- Track performance against plan (budget vs. actuals, forecast accuracy, run vs. change investment, and delivery health indicators), surfacing trends, gaps, and drivers with clear recommendations.
- Build analytics that connect investment to outcomes (progress-to-plan, delivery milestones, value realization signals), enabling leaders to make trade-off decisions quickly and confidently.
- Proactively identify emerging risks, dependency impacts, or underperformance patterns and propose mitigation plans and decision options.
Executive Partnership, Influence & Ambiguity Navigation
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders: bring structure to ambiguous asks, clarify the decision needed, define the measurement approach, and drive to a clear deliverable.
- Influence cross-functional partners without authority by setting standards, aligning on definitions, and driving adoption of common planning and reporting routines.
- Prepare and deliver executive-ready narratives that clearly articulate: what changed, why it changed, what it means, and what decision/action is recommended.
Operational Discipline & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and manage operating rhythms (weekly/monthly performance routines, planning checkpoints, executive readouts) that drive accountability and decision velocity.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning and reporting processes, eliminate redundancies, automate reporting, and strengthen governance.
- Stay current on Power BI / Power Platform capabilities and internal standards to continuously modernize reporting and tooling.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Advanced Power BI: data modeling, DAX, performance optimization, interactive dashboards, executive storytelling through visuals.
- Power Apps / Power Platform: building workflow apps, structured intake, process automation and governance-minded solutions.
- Strong finance planning acumen: annual planning, forecasting, variance analysis, scenario modeling, prioritization support.
- Executive communications: concise narratives, strong presence with senior leaders, ability to distill complexity to decision-ready insights.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder asks with precision.
- Comfortable with ambiguity; able to create clarity, define the "ask," and drive structured execution.
- Advanced degree or certifications preferred (e.g., Power BI / Power Platform credentials, PMP or equivalent)
