Senior Software Architect - Medical Imaging Applications (Plymouth, MN)
We are looking for:
A highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Architect with expertise in compiled languages to serve as our Technical Lead for intravascular imaging and functional measurement application suite. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in C++, experience with QT-like UI frameworks and expertise in modern CI/CD techniques with GitHub.
Your role:
- Provide technical and architectural leadership for software development teams to deliver differentiated clinical software applications that radically advance image guided therapy procedures.
- Design and champion low-latency architectures that improve ease-of-use of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and hemodynamic diagnostic devices through x-ray and device co-registration and application of artificial intelligence strategies in both coronary vascular and peripheral vascular procedures. - Mentor, and inspire less experienced developers by fostering best practices within the team, emphasizing the disciplines of code quality required for medical software.
- Champion coding standards, industry regulations, and development best practices in the medical software domain, adapting these industry standards to the specific challenges of the business.
- Scout, evaluate, and evangelize advancements in medical imaging technology and software development methodologies.

- 10+ years of progressive technical architecture leadership experience.
- Excellent programming and design skills in modern, low-latency C++ applications, with experience implementing graphical user interfaces (for example with frameworks such as QT) on Windows, Mac or Linux desktop environments.
- Passionate about knowledge-sharing across teams.
- Strong in collaboration with a broad variety of stakeholders including marketing, regulatory, quality, program management, systems engineering, and business leadership system engineering.
- Master's degree in computer science (or equivalent).
- You are able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this hybrid position.
