Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

Responsible for Quality Control inspection of and inspecting of components received, in-process and finished products.

Your Role:

  • Inspect and verify product at various levels of completion according to inspection plan.
  • Document inspection data in a clear and legible fashion.
  • Control non-conforming product through the process until material is caged.
  • Control documentation and retains per work instructions.
  • Label product with acceptance labeling once product is deemed acceptable to be released.
  • Assist to answer questions related to the product inspection.
  • Work with other departments to resolve routine issues found during inspection tasks.
  • Following policies, work instructions and procedures.
  • Perform non-routine projects as assigned by management

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of QC experience preferred
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read product specifications, and follow inspection procedures
  • Proven ability in use of computer tools - databases, Microsoft tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
  • Strong leadership capabilities - needs to be able to drive change
  • Quick decision making ability
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $17.20 to $26.35, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
