Job Description

The Principal Systems Engineer delivers high quality products, by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, technical leadership, and stakeholder management.

Your role:

  • Manage complexity of systems-of-systems in a cross- business setting on cluster level.
  • Be a recognized competence owner and leader in the Systems Engineering discipline.
  • Drive strong business growth through Systems Engineering contribution.
  • Have a significant impact on the applicable business and drives quality standards beyond the state of the art.
You're the right fit if:
  • You've acquired 10+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering with demonstrated exceptional technical leadership skills across R&D, including 5+ years of experience acting in a leading role in proven successful projects, involving multiple domains.
  • Your skills include having high level knowledge of the technology, trends and techniques in the medical device industry. You have led high complex projects.
  • You have a MSc/PhD degree or equivalent in Engineering and/or business discipline or alike experience.
  • You can work without appreciable supervision leading programs or projects and integrating various disciplines.
  • You have a portfolio-centric approach to developing programs and support platform strategies.
  • You foster cross-functional team collaboration to drive work to completion and resolve issues.
  • You communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and senior and executive management. You keep leadership informed of progress and issues.
  • You innovate within program work to improve the organization, solve technical challenges, and develop intellectual property.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .
