Job Description
The Principal Systems Engineer delivers high quality products, by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, technical leadership, and stakeholder management.
Your role:
- Manage complexity of systems-of-systems in a cross- business setting on cluster level.
- Be a recognized competence owner and leader in the Systems Engineering discipline.
- Drive strong business growth through Systems Engineering contribution.
- Have a significant impact on the applicable business and drives quality standards beyond the state of the art.
- You've acquired 10+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering with demonstrated exceptional technical leadership skills across R&D, including 5+ years of experience acting in a leading role in proven successful projects, involving multiple domains.
- Your skills include having high level knowledge of the technology, trends and techniques in the medical device industry. You have led high complex projects.
- You have a MSc/PhD degree or equivalent in Engineering and/or business discipline or alike experience.
- You can work without appreciable supervision leading programs or projects and integrating various disciplines.
- You have a portfolio-centric approach to developing programs and support platform strategies.
- You foster cross-functional team collaboration to drive work to completion and resolve issues.
- You communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and senior and executive management. You keep leadership informed of progress and issues.
- You innovate within program work to improve the organization, solve technical challenges, and develop intellectual property.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Pittsburgh, PA .
