The purpose of Learning and Development (L&D) organization at Pfizer is to maximize colleagues' impact and growth through continuous learning & development.
The Emerging Markets (EM) /China Training Excellence Lead is accountable for establishing the operating process of the new L&D model; brand training; e-learning and CFC (client-facing colleagues) tools training. This role will Lead regional L&D programs. The successful candidate will establish and implement the organization's operating plan with strong process excellence, learning expertise and stakeholder engagement skills.
The role will be a member of EM/China Learning and Development (L&D) Leadership Team, collaborating with EM/China L&D LT and content creation team to define the content and approach that delivers uniform and high-quality learning.

Role Responsibilities
The Training Excellence Lead will play a key role in implementing the new model for the EM/China L&D organization. This role will:
- Operationalize the operating model and plan for the EM/China L&D training org, including ensuring operational excellence and ways of working; developing the process for training needs collection and analysis; determining KPIs and appropriate data reporting; and managing the department budget.
- Advance enterprise learning solutions and bring best practices to EM/China region
- Streamline brand training delivery content management and global content usage; provide train-the-trainer capabilities(T-T-T).
- Drive L&D program and project management for EM/China.
- Determine and provide training performance metrics and data reporting that supports continuous improvement.
- Accountable for CFC tools training.
- Drive self-learning solutions strategy, including managing e-learning tools and collaborating with Learning Management Systems & Platforms team to increase e-learning utilization.
- Drive digital innovative solutions for training delivery.
- Contribute insight and direction as a member of EM/China L&D leadership team.
Qualifications
Required:
- 10 years' experience in a multinational company.
- Track record of successfully structuring and developing bold and innovative strategies from the ground up
- Demonstrated experience leading in a matrix environment and rolling out strategies from inception to successful implementation.
- Prior experience working in global context and/or success leading geographically dispersed teams.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience with evidence of high emotional intelligence.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
Preferred:
- Commercial training experience including delivery of blended and distance learning curricula and content.
- Experience in evaluating Learning programs and materials to ensure client and learner needs are met.
- Understanding of Pfizer's business.
