  • Building strategic Production Plans that will help provide optimal supply solutions to Demand changes
  • Ensuring a reliable and accurate product supply to markets, in line with Global Brand orchestration strategies and Regulatory requirements.
  • Representing the Production Planning Team in Brand Orchestration forums with Network and Site colleagues and be link between Site and Network teams for Demand changes.
  • Developing Long Range Plans and collaborating with Site and Network stakeholders on Master Plans and Product Strategies
  • Transforming and embedding API Production Planning processes that will deliver a standardised Production Planning model for API and achieve an End-to-End system-based planning Ecosystem.

How You Will Achieve It

The API Production Planning Lead, by collaborating with Site and Network stakeholders will:

  • Lead the development of a multiyear supply and inventory plan incorporating input from Global product teams, New products team, Site Product leads, and PGS Strategy teams.


  • Partner with Site and Network teams to identify capacity constraints and cross-functional actions required to achieve the most optimal Supply inventories. In collaboration with Site Product Lead, lead trade off assessments with External Stakeholders,


  • Develop capacity plans (Utilization Matrixes and Heat Maps) and identifies long range capacity requirements.


  • Represent the Production Planning Team in Brand Orchestration forums with Network and Site colleagues.


  • As part of the Planning Processes, develop, issue, and maintain the Production Plan, including maintenance of key planning recipes.


  • In collaboration with Site and Cross Site teams, monitor and validate monthly demand signal changes and maintain key Global Supply Chain metrics


  • Track inventories and Safety Stocks and Report any demand changes with budget / LE implication through the Inventory projection process.


  • Be a key enabler to the Visual Management based Ecosystem to ensure a standardized, tiered, visible approach to API Production Planning.


  • With the support of the API Production Planning Team Lead, develop and own Individual Development Plans, and other developmental opportunities to grow and develop technical and people skills sets.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 2 or more years of experience in API Operations/Value Stream or Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent.
  • It is expected that the successful candidate will be qualified to BS/BA in a Technical or Business field.
  • This position calls for excellent technical, organizational, project management, communication, and leadership skills, and requires the API Production Planner to perform with confidence across all levels of the Organization.
  • Shows fresh and insightful thinking by developing creative approaches to processes and practices
  • Broad understanding of the API and supply chain environment
  • Ability to interact, build effective relationships, and influence leaders at all levels of the organization is required.
  • The ideal candidate will show and promote a tenacity to be a completer finisher.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience across a diverse business portfolio and Departments.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment of competing priorities with concurrent deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability of internal and external collaboration.
  • Master's degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills (including technical skills with Business Intelligence platforms - e.g., SAP BI/BOBJ/Tableau).
  • Proven experience in supply and inventory planning and operational execution will be an advantage.
  • Functional knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
  • Good Knowledge of operational and financial analysis.
  • Six Sigma/Lean management certification.
