Overview
The Warehouse Associate orchestrates the prioritization of work completed within the shipping department. Time management skills are a must. Work priorities have to be balanced based on dispatch needs as well as the availability of product, equipment and manpower. Meeting the customer's needs (Sales) is the central focus of the coordinator's role. Extreme attention to detail is required with an emphasis on order accuracy (adjustments), meeting the order needs (compliance) and ensuring timely delivery (dispatch).
WH:Saturday and Sunday 7 to 5pm
Responsibilities
- Coordination with production
- Coordinating In-bound / Out-bound and Traffic Logistics
- Scheduling the load-out and load mapping
- Assist in directing shift activities through close cooperation with shift Leads and Resources
- Managing ICS/OMS workstation
- Processing incoming orders
- Preparing shipping manifests and needed documentation
- Completing physical inventory
- File maintenance
- Other duties as needed/assigned

Compensation and Benefits:
- Expected working hours per week are $18/hour - $25/hour per week for the role
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
- Part-time employees' vacation time will be prorated based on the number of hours worked

Qualifications
- General knowledge of ICS, shipping systems and warehouse operations is strongly preferred. Proficiency with computers and basic word processing programs required
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
- High School (or equivalent) education
- Ability to set priorities and problem solve in group settings
