Traffic Dispatcher Team Supervisor at Frito-Lay

Are you looking to take a step forward in your career with a leading role in a dynamic team? Frito-Lay is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join us as a Traffic Dispatcher Supervisor. This position plays a crucial role in our logistics and distribution operations, providing both leadership and functional expertise.

Schedule:

  • Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 22:00 - 06:00.
  • Days Off: Friday and Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Provides daily work direction to frontline associates.
    • Creates training and delivers developmental materials for dispatch teams; facilitates team meetings.
    • Weekday dispatch Scheduling.
    • Dispatch 2nd to 3rd shift handoff.
    • Hostler team direction/issue Resolution.
    • Weekend dispatch decision making/tradeoff/run coverage.
    • Dispatch coverage when no alternate solution is available.
  • Uses technical systems for reporting and analytics.

  • DPS, YMS, SAP, Microsoft Suite.
  • Leads daily performance meetings and reviews.
  • Conducts performance coaching, provides individual feedback, and issues corrective action.
  • Makes daily decisions impacting the business.
  • Handles all team performance and personnel issues.
  • Manages time and payroll systems.

  • Compensation & Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $50,600 - $75,950 based on a full-time schedule.
    • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma required.
    • Associates degree or equivalent background preferred.
    • Experience in Traffic Preferred.
    • 3 + years' experience in Supervising Others Preferred.
    • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
    • Experience in Coaching and Monitoring Performance of Others.
    • Able to Instruct and Teach Others.
    • Skills in Organizing, Planning and Prioritizing Work.
    • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Capabilities.
    • Knowledge of General Regulatory & Safety Processes and Procedures.
    • Mechanical and Technical Aptitude.
