Overview

The Sr. Manager, Flexible Packaging & Seasoning Material Supply will be fully accountable for managing planning activities to support Frito-Lay U.S. business initiatives. This role engages with broader procurement team as well as, cross-functional partners and Supplier teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 3-4 Supply Managers responsible for the execution of business initiatives and inventory planning for flexible packaging and seasoning supporting FLUS as well as provide continuous improvement feedback and career development for all direct reports.


  • Oversee all facets of inventory management, flawless execution of new business actions / promotions / discontinuances, obsolescence management, vendor performance (focused on KPIs, material readiness, capacity management, and on-time service), as well as productivity for flexible packaging and seasoning. Lead Supplier relationship and project management.

  • Provide leadership and direction to develop raw material transition strategies to execute business change with minimal obsolescence and ensure the prompt payment of obsolescence invoices.


  • Collaborate within PepsiCo Procurement Teams and with cross-functional partners in task force and ad hoc to ensure supply assurance for business initiatives and special projects. Key stakeholders include Material Supply, Commercial Teams, Graphics Commercialization, Supply Chain, and Suppliers.


  • Ensure the timely execution of PepsiCo Procurement related tasks in the Cornerstone commercialization Tool and work collaboratively with the Cornerstone Analysts to ensure timely completion of graphic requisition assignment, pricing activities, and planning/execution of business initiatives.


  • Lead/support new supplier onboarding and training activities

Travel required:

  • 10-15% travel required

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required - MBA preferred
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of applicable experience
  • Involvement in previous Procurement/Supply Chain roles (manufacturing, product supply, co-pack, etc)
  • Knowledge of flexible packaging and seasoning supply and converting process is a plus
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization including a willingness to challenge stakeholders to ensure best solution achieved
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and understands how to make tradeoff decisions to achieve business objectives
  • Positive, resilient, and motivated to change and simplify processes
  • Effectively manages multiple, conflicting priorities
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to effectively coach and develop associates
  • Must have the indefinite right to work in the U.S.
