Overview
This role serves on the PepsiCo Global Communications and the PepsiCo Foods U.S. (PFUS) Communications team, supporting executive communications for the CEO of PFUS and select members of the executive leadership team.
Candidates for this role must be well-rounded in key communications disciplines, including executive visibility, media relations, strategy development, messaging and crisis communications. They should have hands-on experience with executive communications, including speechwriting, internal communications and LinkedIn. They will be responsible for vetting speaking and media opportunities, as well as preparing briefing documents.
Responsibilities
The role is part of a fast-paced organization and works cross-functionally with senior communications leaders and the chief of staff to the CEO. Understanding the evolving media landscape and using social media as an executive communications tool is critical. Must have hands-on media relations experience across traditional and emerging outlets.

- Developing written communications for the CEO to associates at all levels across email and Viva Engage
- Managing LinkedIn, including an editorial calendar for regular posting and staying on top of engagement and best practices
- Prepping for video shoots and other internal events like town halls
- Curating content from field visits, internal events and external engagements for posting across a variety of platforms
- Maintaining a cadence of reviews and approvals of content
- Working with the chief of staff to the CEO as well as senior communications leaders to prepare materials
- Working in a cross-functional communications team and coordinating with PR agency support
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University, preferably with focus on Communications/Journalism/PR
- 4+ years of PR experience managing corporate reputation communications at large corporate entity or agency with large corporate clients (fast-moving consumer goods category preferred)
- Individual contributor with ability to work cross-functionally and manage agency resources
- Understanding of key communications disciplines like media relations, strategy development, executive visibility, messaging and crisis communications
- Proven media relations skills including strategic planning, managing issues, pitching stories and the ability to storymine
- Excellent oral and written communications skills - including presentations and media materials
- Occasional travel required
