Overview
This Category Manager position is responsible for providing fact-based insights and solutions that will drive growth for PepsiCo's Water business within the Gatorade Portfolio, inclusive of Propel, Lifewtr, and Gatorade Water, and their respective categories. The role also leads our Market Insights function, a role designed to provide regular analyses that address ongoing business drivers, and also creates automated performance reporting for our Leadership Team.
The Manager will utilize an understanding of product assortment, placement, price, and promotion to drive actionable insights that will help address both PepsiCo and the customer's problem(s) to solve. They will work closely with Sales Strategy, marketing and Sales teams to influence and guide decisions toward profitable category growth, expanding category insights partnership with the retailer, and reinforcing PepsiCo's position as the thought leader for the various Water categories.

Responsibilities
- Through extensive knowledge and experience, will own and lead relationships with syndicated POS, Household Panel, and/or Retailer Shopper Card data providers
- Manage and leverage multiple syndicated data sources (e.g. IRI/Nielsen, Kantar, etc.) to monitor and diagnose brand & business issues and make actionable recommendations
- Leverage data and insights to develop optimized space and assortment strategies; partner with Demand Accelerator Insights partners to help develop and validate best-in-class planograms
- Develop and help manage ongoing reporting, scorecarding, and business performance
- Regularly present learnings and insights as a basis for strategic decision making and planning across marketing initiatives, strategic business plan development
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide key insights to drive strategy and growth
- Influence customers through data and insights to grow both their business and PepsiCo's business
- Coach and manage direct report on functional and leadership acumen
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant insights and analytic experience with a consumer-packaged goods company or syndicated data vendor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate across all levels in the organization in a motivating, influencing manner
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal partners to drive results and leverage best in class insights and tools
- Must be capable of managing multiple projects at once and able to prioritize and adapt quickly
- Requires a high level of analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills as well as great attention to detail
- Must be highly proficient with PowerPoint and Excel
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Travel Requirements: Limited to National or Large Team Meetings
