Parts Room Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Perform Cycle Counts - follow matrix and complete a full storeroom count quarterly.
  • Manage parts checkout process.
  • Keep parts area clean and organized.
  • Ensure bin locations are labeled and assigned in Infor.
  • Help technicians find needed parts.
  • Contact vendors for pricing.
  • Coordinate pickup/drive to other sites for parts.
  • Call for services.
  • Receive parts.
  • 5S - Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.
  • Keep locations properly labeled.
  • Housekeeping (trash, sweeping, etc.).

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Sitting occasionally to frequent.
  • Lifting - up to 50 pounds above head height with or without an accommodation.
  • Must be able to see (depth perception, near acuity and far acuity) and hear.
  • Must be able to maneuver safely around moving equipment and/or in congested manufacturing areas.
  • Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures (hot and/or cold depending upon season and plant location).
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment: safety glasses, ear protection, steel toed shoes, rubber gloves/boots, etc.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $37,000 - $58,950 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
  • In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.

Qualifications

  • Strong MS Office Skills - Word, Excel.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a result oriented, challenging environment.
  • Effective coaching, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Must hold strong follow-up skills and embrace top level service environment.
