Join PepsiCo in a game-changing role as the Inventory Control Specialist for our first-ever 1NA Mixing Center, a pioneering facility integrating PBNA, Quaker, and Frito-Lay products into a single, streamlined distribution system.

In this position, you'll oversee all key inventory operations within our 1NA Mixing Center and work closely with our third-party logistics (3PL) partner. You'll be at the forefront of launching and implementing inventory processes for this new site, while ensuring operational excellence from day one.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build a high-performing team capable of solving day-to-day challenges and achieving long-term goals.
    3PL & Operational Excellence
  • Work closely with the 3PL inventory team, ensuring adherence to business processes, and all inventory compliance.
  • Partner with 3PL on the new site startup, implementation, and execution
  • Drive improvements in waste performance, product damage, and inventory loss through strategic planning and collaboration.

Inventory & Process Management

  • Ensure accurate inventory rotation and old age management.
  • Leverage WMS and Spotlight Optimization tools to enhance warehouse zoning and task interleaving.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies, including safety, accounting, and purchasing.

Customer Service & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Ensure on-time delivery aligned with Requested/Scheduled Arrival Dates.
  • Build strong relationships across the Power of One network, including PBC bottlers, Co-Packers,
    Repacker, PBNA/PFNA COE's, and MFG.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational issues and deliver exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead all key inventory accountabilities for our new 1NA Warehouse Mixing Center in Brookshire, Tx. This new campus will encompass 1.1 million square feet and will be the first of its kind integrating products from our business sectors PBNA, Quaker, and Frito-Lay.
  • Work closely with our National Inventory Team (NIT).
  • Responsibilities include management of all order processing from receipt in SAP through movement into WMS and any subsequent changes until the order is loaded and shipped.
  • Directly accountable for the management of orders to ensure the highest levels of customer service (product availability, order fill rate, and on-time delivery).
  • Pull Inventory in region based on reporting.
  • Work processes for all returned product to the facility.
  • Processing of orders as they interface between SAP, WMS and Spotlight.
  • Active involvement with customer service, planning, inventory control, transportation scheduling and warehouse operations to understand the timing and volume requirements to manage the on- time shipment of orders.
  • Follow standardized processes for interacting with distribution center and plant personnel; engage management when customization or changes to these processes is needed.
  • Identify and resolve customer order & inventory replenishment issues, within the scope and authority of the position.
  • The ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize and maintain order processing systems (SAP).
  • Perform daily reports as needed
  • Review product availability holds and current inventory available
  • Manage SAP MDT updates in accordance with Beverage Integration Leads weekly reporting.
  • Cross train and provide coverage when appropriate for Inventory Control Team.
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $59,400 - $92,600.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

Qualifications

We're looking for a results-driven leader with a passion for operations and innovation. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain, Business, Operations
    Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Two-Four years of experience with inventory, logistics, customer service or related supply chain function.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead key initiatives, influence across functions, and drive results in a fast-paced, startup-like environment while leading with a mindset to exceed all Objectives/Metrics.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with WMS, SAP, transportation systems, and labor management systems.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Communication: Ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working in unstructured environments and making quick, informed decisions.
  • Travel: Occasional travel required (less than 10%).
