Overview

The Global Procurement Solution Architect role is responsible for supporting the Global Procurement Domain Architect in defining the global reference architecture (capabilities and technology standards) for end-to-end Source-to-Pay process, governing and ensuring the organization aligns with enterprise standards and uses common solutions, defining the solution architecture for global Procurement programs and providing architecture coaching/guidance to sector EA's for sector specific Procurement initiatives, towards reducing IT costs and complexity and ensuring long term viability of solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support Global Procurement Domain Architect in defining north star reference architectures (capability models, with common terminology, definitions, and flows).
  • Support the Global Procurement Domain Architect in defining the technology strategy for the domain. Co-lead the evaluation and selection of solutions/platforms to meet global/sector needs.
  • Support Global Procurement Domain Architect in evangelizing and increase awareness of global reference architectures and tech standards for the domain across the enterprise.
  • Support Global Procurement Domain Architect in shaping the technology strategy of Supply Chain initiatives to maximize alignment with standards. Help close fit gaps with standards to minimize local solutions.
  • Support Global Procurement Domain Architect in the delivery of consistent solution architecture (conceptual, logical, and physical architecture) for key transformation initiatives to ensure the solution is fit for purpose, flexible, scalable, and sustainable.
  • Help guide/support sector Supply Chain architects in defining solution architecture for sector specific projects.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or similar field, Masters preferred.
10+ years of software industry experience.
3+ years of solution architecture experience.
In-depth knowledge and practical experience of the source-to-pay business processes, including spend analytics, source-to-contract, procure-to-pay and supplier relationship management
Experience with key vendor software packages including SAP ERP and SAP Ariba or similar vendors in Source-to-Pay and supplier management areas
Ability to comprehend business strategies and needs and translate them to technology strategies.
Effective conceptual selling experience.
Ability to demonstrate a mindset for the Conceptual, Logical, Physical levels of architecture and apply them effectively.
Systems thinking, understanding of relationships between various systems.
Strong thought leadership and executive storytelling skills, assertive and trusted advisor, and ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
Understanding of integration technologies and patterns; data architecture and patterns.
