This position requires a candidate that is dedicated to personal safety and the environment. Safety and environmental experience are preferred. This individual must be professional, self-driven, and able to support multiple functions, and lead teams. This position has responsibilities in overall Site safety and key components of environmental compliance.
This is a temporary position with a defined term up to 12 months. While there may be opportunities within the organization after the term ends, continued employment is not guaranteed.
Responsibilities
- Implement, execute, & ensure compliance with PepsiCo's Environmental, Health and Safety policies, procedures, and tasks.
- Support execution of the site's annual EHS Plan.
- Work with site Management to support implementation of EHS programs.
- Identify and evaluate hazards (risks) and implement effective controls (corrective solutions).
- Support & Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans.
- Facilitate and support the completion of a site wide annual EHS training plan.
- Lead and support site EHS Committees.
- Support/Conduct both internal and external audits when they occur.
- Manage and utilize EHS systems such as Ventiv, myEHS, Power Bi, Schoox, etc... as applicable.
- Conduct and assist in GEHSMS program reviews with EHS program owners/teams.
- Manage 3rd party vendors as applicable.
- Management of EHS Records.
- Capable of working off shift hours as required.
- Conduct on the floor EHS inspections and observations.
- EHS department needs support to ensure compliance for audits, OSHA, and day-to-day safety issues.
Compensation and Benefits
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,000 - $71,800.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of EHS experience required
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
- Passion in driving cultural change in EHS.
- Strong communication skills when working with site leadership or frontline associates.
- Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks without losing momentum while also completing all daily tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Able to use systems such as, but not limited to, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.
